This month’s IDIDTHAT.co Craft Awards are in! With Roanna Williams, Chief Creative Officer at Boundless and Xander Vander, Editor at Strangelove at the helm, the bar was set high. The top duo who stole the spotlight this month for their work on Chicken Licken is director, Peter Pohorsky from Plank, for Direction and Werner Maritz for Cinematography. Bravo, team!

Craft Award Results: May 2025

This month’s IDIDTHAT.co Craft Awards were in excellent hands, judged by two of the industry’s finest: Sbu Sitole, Chief Creative Officer at The Odd Number, and director Zwelethu Radebe from Egg Films. A massive congratulations to this month’s top crafters, directors Sanaa Mothabisa from Sanaa Films and Zee Ntuli from Darling Films, for work that the judges thought stood out. Nice one gents!

Craft Award Results: April 2025

South Africa’s Cannes Predictions 2025

As the countdown to Cannes kicks off, the official IDIDTHAT.co Cannes Predictions are here! This is the South African work handpicked by our panel of judges as the strongest contenders to roar on the global stage. We asked them to view the work entered by South Africa into Cannes this year and choose the pieces they believe will turn heads in France. South Africa’s D&AD Work & Winners 2025

This year, South Africa brought home a Wood Pencil at the prestigious D&AD Awards and it went to The Odd Number for their powerful Salvation Army campaign. With thousands of entries from across the globe, getting awarded at D&AD is no small feat, so huge kudos to the team for flying the SA flag high!
