Howard Audio goes back in time to alter the future in ‘Finding the Forgotten Graduate’ campaign

‘Finding the Forgotten Graduate’ is a massive ten-part digital storytelling campaign that takes us back in time to honour the pioneering intellectuals whose stories have almost entirely been omitted from our history books. Howard Audio was responsible for crafting the composition, sound-design and final-mix of the audio for this groundbreaking project and thanks to him and the whole team involved, the rest is history.

Audio Militia reloaded; new studios, new EP, new division

Launched over 15 years ago, Audio Militia has established itself as one of the leading specialists in post-production sound in South Africa. More recently though these veterans have seriously been shaking things up at company HQ. We spoke to Co-Founder and CEO Nick Argyros and newly promoted Executive Producer Catherine Grenfell about their new and incredibly cool centralised studios and a recently developed division that offers easy translation and dubbing services to expand projects into broader African markets.

Congratulations to directors Thina Zibi from Hello Circus and Tebza from The Star Film Company who will be strutting into the second half of 2022 a whole Craft Award sexier.

We don't know what they put in the water at Bioscope Films (maybe Corona and Espolōn Tequila??) but it's working!

SHE DID THAT is a female filmmakers showcase that shines a spotlight on the women in the South African production industry. Although we will only be featuring women and non-binary people, the goal is that it will encourage the inclusion of more underrepresented filmmakers across all production work created by South Africans. This month features Thina Zibi from Hello Circus, Anna Telford from Butterfly Films, and Thea Small from Darling Films.
