South Africa makes its mark at One Show 2025 with 18 finalists. Here’s the work.
The One Show has revealed its 2025 finalists, and South Africa again shows up with 18 for the second year in a row. Finalists include local agencies and production companies: Joe Public, TBWA\Hunt Lascaris, Bananas, Promise, Darling Films, Carbon Films, and Enpower Trading. These finalists await the final Pencil decisions, which will be announced during Creative Week in New York on May 15. All finalists will win Gold, Silver, Bronze Pencils or Merits. Go team SA!

LittleBig director Rob Smith on big storytelling with restraint for ‘Safely Home’ campaign
Last year, more than 700 mothers in the Western Cape lost a child to road-related incidents. ‘Safely Home’, the campaign directed by LittleBig’s Rob Smith for Ogilvy Cape Town and the Western Cape Government, approaches that reality with restraint and care. While comedy may be Rob’s most visible calling card, this work shows his ability to handle big, emotionally complex stories with a measured, thoughtful approach.
