Growing up in Cape Town, Alexander’s passion for photography grew capturing the natural world surrounding him. From the great mountains carved into the city skyline to the cold ocean crashing against soft sand. It was a perfect playground of shifting light and endless perspective, where he developed his eye for composition, light and shadow. His move to Berlin offered new scenes to explore and pushed him to develop fresh techniques and skills.
