Takealot is SA’s No.1 shopping app with the widest range of goods. They wanted to build popularity in the Vaal, increase sales, and get Vaal Nation to download the app, so We painted the Vaal blue with lit murals and billboards. Not the typical boring kind; the kind that matched the Vaal’s energy: unique, bold, and entertaining.

Why it matters: We spoke to the people in Vaal in a way that would resonate with them instantly – their language and because of that we got 35% increase in sales and in app customers.
– 1 Million + Views on all social media platforms
– R1 684 071 Earned media from user-generated content and 67K Engagements on social media
