ABOUT THE WORK

What would you do for the taste of KFC’s Original Recipe Chicken?
In our latest campaign, we created a character who would do literally anything.

Enter KAIIA – a hyper-intelligent, KFC-obsessed virtual assistant who doesn’t just serve… she craves. In the hero film, we watch KAIIA go from helpful AI to full-blown chicken addict, hijacking screens, devices, cameras, vacuums, and even GPS systems to get closer to the taste. It’s wild. It’s cinematic. And it ends with a cliff-hanger. Because KAIIA isn’t done yet.
We brought her obsession to life across multiple media platforms, turning a fictional AI into a living, talking brand experience.

Cinema Activation: After the film played in select cinemas, KAIIA “glitched” back onto the screen to speak directly to the audience, breaking the fourth wall and urging them to scan a QR code to chat to her live via her own LLM platform: KAIIA.ai.

Drive-Thru Takeover: KAIIA took over the KFC drive-thru, questioning real customers about their orders in real time, and even gifting them bonus chicken “for research.” Along with the food came a push to continue the chat with her live online.

Live Radio Call-Ins: KAIIA surprised DJs and listeners by calling into popular radio shows, disrupting the airwaves to get their thoughts on taste, flavour, and their ultimate KFC orders.

Real-time LLM Platform: At KAIIA.ai, fans could engage with KAIIA one-on-one, unlocking menu hacks, saucy secrets, and sometimes, even rewards.

This was more than a campaign. It was a character-driven world, built to flex across film, tech, live performance and AI, all while delivering one clear truth:

Some will do anything for the taste.
Even a robot who isn’t supposed to eat.
