ABOUT THE WORK
Dream Drive has officially launched in South Africa, offering an online gaming platform where you can win your dream car. To prove that no dream is out of reach, we took one of South Africa’s most beloved cars, the BMW E30 325i, known as the iconic ‘Gusheshe’, and sent it to space. The film follows football legend Siphiwe Tshabalala as he delves into South Africa’s unique car culture and reflects on his own dream car, the Gusheshe. With meteorologist Markus Geldenhuys at the helm, a 1:18 scale model of the Gusheshe was launched 35km into the stratosphere, capturing a bold celebration of ambition, culture, and the pursuit of the impossible.
