Our daily lives are made up of what feels like, an endless routine. We wake up, go to work, go home, eat, sleep and repeat. All year long it feels as though our lives are made up of just those elements, so as a nation, summer has been hyped up in our minds as an opportunity to break that routine and go out and live our best lives! But the reality is that our “best summer lives” are expensive!
From the family visits, braais, sundowners and pool parties. Maybe a vacation or two if you’re lucky. The cost of summer is so high it’s horrifying and oftentimes we look back and think ‘what was I thinking’.
