IDIDTHAT creates the industry’s meeting place at The Loeries
What started as a wild idea to create a home for the industry at The Loeries, has become something truly special. This year, over 26 production companies and 6 leading brands have joined IDIDTHAT to build a space where the industry can come together.
It’s free access, RSVP here to get a QR code for easy access on Thurs, 9th and Friday the 10th of October.
IDIDTHAT HOUSE exists because of the people who make the work, the people who believe in collaboration over competition, and the people who show up for each other every single day on set, in edit suites, on pitches, and in late-night brainstorms.

We’re beyond grateful to every production company partner who has backed us, believed in us, and helped bring this space to life. You’re the bloody heartbeat of this industry. As for our brand partners (Heineken, KFC, Nedbank, Spotify, VW, and 99c), we actively went after them because they’re shaping the current advertising zeitgeist, and we wanted the best at the table. To our activation partners POPCO and our support partners (Biblo.tv, Markus Wormstorm, and Texx and the City), thank you for helping us create the Loeries HOME.
Julie Maunder, Founder of IDIDTHAT, says, “I love this industry and its people so much. We work unbelievably hard, we hustle, and we do it with heart, like true South Africans. But we also need to have fun together again. IDIDTHAT HOUSE is a chance for all of us to hang out, see old friends, make new ones, and just celebrate what we do and who we are. Thank you to all the beautiful, insanely talented people who’ve made this possible. I honestly cannot wait to hang with all of you!”
Together, you’ve helped us build a space where the whole industry can connect, laugh, learn, share stories, and remember why we all love what we do. We’ve got a full line-up planned for you. Take a look at the IDIDTHAT HOUSE schedule to see what’s on.

We can’t wait to host you, the creatives, production, and marketers all under one roof.
Here’s to the power of our industry.
See you at IDIDTHAT HOUSE 9 & 10 October, hosted at The Electric, Cape Town, 48 Canterbury Street, Cape Town.
