TinToy Films has been in the commercials production game for over a decade, and as Executive Producer Warren Ferreira jokingly puts it, ‘We started when we were young and dumb.’ Now that both Warren and TinToy director Ian Morgan, have become first-time dads, they thought it was about time that their company mature along with them. What began as a one-stop production shop has morphed into an established director based production house with an impressive reel and fresh new branding.
‘We’ve evolved,’ Warren says, ‘The rebrand isn’t just about a fresh change, it’s about growth and evolution for TinToy. We’ve reached a phase in our careers where we can be more selective with the work we do and I think that’s a significant realisation for anyone. The rebrand solidifies this milestone for us.’
Fresh rebrand for TinToy Films
TinToy Films is a full-service production company, specialising in commercials, alongside their expertise in documentaries, branded content, music videos, and short films. With EP Warren and commercials director Ian at the helm, the talent roster includes passionate storytellers, producers, and a full in-house post-production team. The directors alongside Ian are Justine Patterson, Duran Barnett, and Nic Eve, each bringing a unique flair to their craft, making TinToy Films a dynamic and versatile production company.
‘Reflecting on the work we’ve created over 12 years in the commercials industry, we thought it was time for a refresh,’ says Ian, the passionate comedy and narrative director whose name you might recognise from the credits of ‘Good Mourning.’ The short film, starring the late Paul Snodgrass, received many accolades, including a spot at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize. ‘It’s not just performance, I also enjoy making things look pretty,’ Ian chuckles and it’s this eye for aesthetics and attention to detail that shines through in many of TinToy’s projects and here are some of our favourites.
