PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We were tasked with developing a new approach for a visual representation of the Life with Kelly Khumalo television series, which showcases Kelly Khumalo’s life and personality. Season 1’s concept was a logo-prominent graphic that didn’t provide much insight into Kelly’s character. However, with a better understanding of Kelly and the people in her life, we aimed to give a more personal and in-depth look into her life through a graphics package for Season 2. Our creative execution was a visual biography. This visual representation was built using popular quotes and social media posts by Kelly, as well as supplied imagery and illustrations of the characters in her life. This approach allowed us to give a unique and personal look into Kelly’s life, letting the audience in on her experiences and personality through her own words, as a part of the Life with Kelly Khumalo television series.
