ABOUT THE WORK
Deanston whisky is by no means an old whisky distillery, not by Scotch standards. It’s just turned 68. Hell, in whisky years that’s still an unruly teenager. And like a teenager, Deanston doesn’t quite fit in. In fact, their entire story is quite unlikely…
It’s not the Scottish whisky story you would expect but it is the Scottish whisky story you needed. It’s unlike the other Scottish distilleries and it’s unlike the other Scottish whiskies. Deanston was, is and always has been cut from a different tartan.
