Beetles, their Kombis, their CitiGolfs, their Golf GTI’s and Volkswagen overall.
This TV commercial is the next chapter in that story. But we’re not looking back with nostalgia. Rather, we’re looking forward to new memories and new adventures, new road trips across our beautiful
country and the other people these road trips connect us with.
The two leads – a young boy and young girl in their pre-teens “meet” as their respective parents’ Volkswagens pass each other on the long road from Johannesburg to a coastal holiday destination.
Backseat boredom is relieved by the appearance of a kindred spirit and a friendship develops.
Finally, they meet in their holiday destination and there is the anticipation of adventure to come.
