Massif is based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa and represents a roster of highly sought after and award winning directors. We collaborate with advertising agencies and top brands both locally and internationally to tailor smart and visually captivating advertising work. Central to Massif’s creative vision is Peter Carr, the company’s co-founder and award winning Executive Producer. Peter Carr spent twenty years heading up Velocity Films followed by a three year stint at Bouffant. All in all Peter Carr has worked alongside most of South Africa’s top ranked film directors and shot some of the country’s most memorable and iconic work. Under his tenure Velocity Films and Bouffant consistently ranked amongst the top South African film companies and was consistently ranked in the Gunn Report Top 25 companies. He has twice been ranked as South Africa’s top film producer at the Loerie Awards and he brings a brand of leadership and his vast experience and knowledge of the international commercials industry to Massif.
