Relaunch a firm local favourite with a powerful new website

South African-based Mum’s Mail presents parents with a monthly multimedia platform where they can find exciting competitions, relevant classifieds and family friendly events.

Since 2003, readers have found inspiration and guidance through Mum’s Mail. Already having developed a trusted brand, Mum’s Mail selected PlusNarrative to help ensure their continued relevance in today’s ever-changing, digitised world.

We aimed to create a holistic platform which the existing Mum’s Mail community could effortlessly navigate. We produced an intuitive solution which consolidated the website’s huge offering variety into five primary categories: competitions, articles, the directory, events and advertising opportunities.

We created a contemporary user interface with an effortless user experience.

This design philosophy resulted in a contemporary user interface which neatly packages all available content into an easy-to-use and valuable user experience.

As Mum’s Mail is a brand based on community we also prioritised collaboration and co-creation, enabling users to submit their own content – including articles and competitions – for publication.

Our efforts resulted in a positively received platform that presents everything that Mum’s Mail has to offer, while transcending the limitations of print and amplifying the publication’s impact.
