ABOUT THE WORK
Set in the heart of Johannesburg’s iconic Small Street, the film is a visceral love letter to the continent’s vibrant hustle. Known as the informal artery of Jozi’s inner-city buzz, Small Street is alive with colour, culture, and commerce; it is an everyday runway where fashion meets the street. It mirrors the pulse of Lagos, (Nigeria), Meji Meji’s birthplace, where scooters weave through open-air markets and street vendors become style traders.
