We created an immersive digital campaign to save the last 400,000 African elephants,by getting our fans and their friends to name the remaining elephants. Our #NameThemSaveThem campaign offers people the chance to design and name their very own elephant, because when you name an elephant you would never dream of harming it. The campaign engages consumers through an on-line video featuring conservationist Dr Paula Kahumbu outlining the plight of the African elephant and driving viewers to a beautifully designed, fully responsive and immersive virtual 3D savannah that’s populated with 400,000 elephants. Each time a fan names and designs an elephant, Amarula donates one dollar to Wildlife Direct to protect African elephants. And we keep in touch with our fans through an on-going loyalty program including giving each one a physical origami version of their elephant to fold into a keepsake.
