For many years Volkswagen Golf’s positioning has been “For the love of the drive.” We wanted to remind South African’s why this is true. Our commercial reminds us of the emotional bond we have with our cars, and the cherished memories
of dropping children off at school and taking them to interesting places. This message, that our cars almost become part of the family, is consistent across the Volkswagen brand, and reinforces the concept of “the people’s car”.
