The Toyota Supra is one of the most iconic cars of all time. People grew up seeing the Supra in movies, on posters and (most memorably) in video games. And now, after 17 years, the Supra is back. Not only is this the return of Supra, it’s also the first time that the car is available in South Africa. People who grew up dreaming of driving a Supra, now finally have the chance to actually get behind the wheel. In the ad we wanted to tell the story of how South Africa has been waiting for the Supra while also paying homage to the iconic heritage of the car. Our campaign line “Press Start to Supra” sums up our big idea that finally, the ultimate video game car is available in real life.
