Innovating with Ice to Earn Free Media. Castle Lite presents the Ziyabanda Ice Vinyl Using sounds and samples recorded from ice – we created Ziyabanda. An innovative Hip Hop track that turned Castle Lite’s minus 2.5 degree lagering, Extra C old Refreshment, and a passion for innovation, into content people, could relate to, share and talk about. The Opportunity: Our video and track exploded across social media, and earned rave reviews in some of South Africa’s biggest press and music blogs. But we wanted even more exposure. So we took the song we made of ice, and turned it into a record made of ice, and used it to start a whole new conversation on some of Africa’s biggest music platforms, like Slikour On Life and Channel O.
