We’re convinced by the power of a solid concept to produce films that create initial impact and stand the test of time. The high demands and quick turnarounds of the industry may make you believe content is king, but here at M&MF concept is king and “long live the king” resounds throughout our studio.
Contribute over Consume.
We’re driven by the desire to contribute ideas, films and narratives that challenge the status quo and push culture forward. Our belief that the more diverse the voices at the table, the better the contribution, drives M&MF to pull up some extra chairs for those previously excluded. Having grown up consuming we’re going to grow old contributing.
Anthony completed the final semester of his Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media at the University of California in Santa Barbara and stepped into his first editing apprenticeship in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon returning to South Africa he worked as a feature films and commercials editor assistant at Waterfront Post. This journey led him to Deliverance Post Production where Anthony spent the next 13 years editing locally and internationally awarded commercials, short films and branded content. His work and craft has been recognised at international award shows including D&AD’s, One Show, Cannes & The Loeries as well as in popular culture by CNN, Fox News, USA Today, 9GAG, Huffpost, Newsweek, Buzzfeed, Reddit, AdsOfTheWorld, iDidTht and even Ashton Kutcher himself.

Cindy’s comment: “I’ve seen this execution before, but it’s Jolynn’s casting and beautiful handling of performance that warrants a SPECIAL MENTION. I was swept up in the emotion of the story from beginning to end. The grade is beautiful, and the timing and pace of the editing is superb. I love how even with so much going on, the focus always remains on the woman and her emotions. For me, it’s the music that lets this piece down. It doesn’t seem as considered or as crafted as the rest of the film which is a pity as that could have elevated the film even more.”
