While in Kenya at The Ol Pejeta Conservancy on assignment for United for Wildlife, we filmed a short piece that is cinematic and very visual – our hope is that no matter what language you speak or where you live, the message still rings clear: with the current rate of poaching and habitat loss, our grandchildren may not experience wildlife in a natural environment, the way we’ve been able to, the way you can today. This is cause enough to stand and make a change, to leave a lasting legacy for our future generations.
Big thanks to Matthew Tuna in the film, he is 11 years old and lives on the outskirts of this conservancy in a small village. To the Writer of the original idea – Andrew Gibbs – thanks for pushing us to film this. We also want to thank Gareth Wharton at Juice Audio for providing the soundtrack.
