Matthew Stead takes the reins at Ludus Cape Town

As producer Thandiswa Ndaba exits the Cape Town Ludus to re-join the JHB Ludus team, producer Matthew Stead steps in to take the reins.
After graduating with a degree in TV Journalism from Rhodes University, Matthew began his career in the film industry as a long-form assistant editor at Refinery Post Production. Following this, he moved on to Orchestra Blue Post Production to hone his craft. It is this background in editing that gave Matthew the tools and understanding to become an excellent post-production producer.
Following his time at Orchestra Blue, Matthew went on to post-produce for Tessa Ford Post Productions, then in 2019 he made the move to Cape Town where he has since become the jewel in the Ludus crown, producing for some of the country’s most talented and award-winning editors, colourists and online artists.
